GREAT NEW VENUES FOR 2010

We are delighted to announce we are moving to the fantastic GRAND PAVILION, the most striking building on Porthcawl’s seafront esplanade.

Built in 1932, The Grand Pavilion, with its octagonal dome and striking frontage has dominated the Porthcawl seafront for 70 years. Originally intended as a Palm Court, the Pavilion has always operated as a multifunctional venue.

Stage One is in the Main Hall which has a balcony curving around the stage and a full sprung dance floor ideal for dancing. It boasts a state of the art sound and lighting system, recently installed. Stage Two is the Stage Door venue, more intimate but with a full sound and lighting system.

The Pavilion has taken a step forward to offer a full and professional service including computerised Box Office and Ticketing, marketing and technical support. The venue now also boasts a spacious café bar, with a splendid view of the Promenade and Bristol Channel.

This will be home of the now famous “Celtic Sessions”, with some of the best music to be heard in any festival bar!

We will also be using The Brentwood Hotel for workshops, the fringe & Late Night Extra!

See below.

After using the venue successfully for the Thursday night concert in the last 2 festivals, it made sense to use it for the entire weekend. We know you’ll love it!
